An expanded trap line greeted shooters  for the Tucson Trap and Skeet's  64th winter chain Pin Shoot Close to 35 squads shot the Saturday’s Singles Championship.  From ND and neighboring States shooters did well: Dan Vogel, Montana,  won the Singles Championship with 200, while Bob Munson, ND broke 199, Don Ackerson, ND 196.  This was Bob and Annie Munson’s first shoot as North Dakota Residents.

Weather treated shooters well.  Many will be leaving for Ben Avery on Monday for its Chain Shoot next week. 

The Grounds look ready for the shooters coming for the Spring Grand.  If the weather is as good then as it was this week it will be a lot of nice weather.

 Reminder to ND shooters coming to the Spring Grand.  Between the 100’s on the Championship Singles a picture will be taken of ND Shooters.  ND shooters expected for the Spring Grand include: Orrin Johnson, Bill Suda, Bob Reis, Tim Kaffar, Greg Vaage, Louis Kuster, Don Ackerson, Brian and JoMarie Knutson, Jeff Wagner, Leonard Raddohl, Marlin Egeland, Cody Tangsrud, Folvag and Carl Anderson

  

 

After working for the Tucson Trap and Skeet club for 10 years Connie Riecke has announced her retirement.  For many of those years she was the lady that handled the presentation of attendance pins.  The shooters will miss her, but wish her well in her retirement with hopes they will see her back working at the club again sometime in the future.

Orrin Johnson, ND, Leonard Raddohl, ND, Cliff Haycok, Colo, Gerry Mitchel, Ariz, Kevin Countryman, Ohio, Jim Beuning, Minn., and Della McClure, Az. Orrin Broke 100 to win Friday's Vet Singles. Leonard Raddohl, won a class trophy on Friday with a 95 plus a Short Yardage award  in Friday' handicap with a 96. Eight time All America Cliff Haycock was pleased with his 99 Friday's Handicap win, He also won Saturday's Senior Vets with a 199.

Eugene Bert, Saskatchewan, Dan Vogle, Montana, Will Aiken, Alberta, Brian Bebau, Saskatchewan, Bon McConnell, Alberta, and Gerry Gau, Alberta.  Dan Vogel won the shoot’s Championship singles with 200, and Ron McConnell won Vet's with 199. Last week he won the Casa Grande Championship Singles with 200. He also won a doubles event at this shoot with 100. Gerry Gau trophied in two singles events with 100's this week, and won Fridays Mid yardage handicap with a 97.,

The expansion of the Tucson Trap and Skeet fields is impressive. As you can see by the above photo it is a long trap line.  Spring Grand Shooters will be well pleased with this major addition to the club. The ten birds at a post will no longer be necessary.
