An expanded trap line greeted shooters for the Tucson Trap and Skeet's 64th winter chain Pin Shoot Close to 35 squads shot the Saturday’s Singles Championship. From ND and neighboring States shooters did well: Dan Vogel, Montana, won the Singles Championship with 200, while Bob Munson, ND broke 199, Don Ackerson, ND 196. This was Bob and Annie Munson’s first shoot as North Dakota Residents.
Weather treated shooters well. Many will be leaving for Ben Avery on Monday for its Chain Shoot next week.
The Grounds look ready for the shooters coming for the Spring Grand. If the weather is as good then as it was this week it will be a lot of nice weather.

ND shooters expected for the Spring Grand include: Orrin Johnson, Bill Suda, Bob Reis, Tim Kaffar, Greg Vaage, Louis Kuster, Don Ackerson, Brian and JoMarie Knutson, Jeff Wagner, Leonard Raddohl, Marlin Egeland, Cody Tangsrud, Folvag and Carl Anderson

After working for the Tucson Trap and Skeet club for 10 years Connie Riecke has announced her retirement. For many of those years she was the lady that handled the presentation of attendance pins. The shooters will miss her, but wish her well in her retirement with hopes they will see her back working at the club again sometime in the future. |
