Effective August 2006, the Arizona State Trapshooting Association was reorganized into three statewide Zones, "A", "B" and "C". The Zip Code and county of a gun club or residence of an individual member determines their Zone affiliation. A maximum of three (3) directors from each Zone will serve on the Board of Directors. Nominations will be from the floor at the Annual Meeting. If a Zone has no candidates a member at large may be nominated and elected only by members of the Zone not having sufficient candidates. Incoming Directors will serve a three year term.
ASTA Board Requirements:
Candidates for the board must have registered not less than 4000 targets in the ATA target year preceding the year of their candidacy.
Seated board members must have registered 4000 targets in the ATA year prior to the year of the annual meeting.
Candidates for Zone Director and seated board members will have their qualification requirements verified by the State Delegate or his/her designee.
